GITA 1 / COMPUTER SCIENCE 1



Hello, I'm Natalie and this is my GITA 1 website portfolio. I'm currently a 9th grader at BOHS.
I'm planning to graduate highschool and attend a college to help me with my future career.
As of now, I am only in the Art club. However, I am still in the search of clubs that I'm interested in joining.
I'm not involved in any community service yet, but I'm looking to participate in a pet daycare.




GITA is a program about challenging students to solve real world technology issues and
apply their knowledge and critical thinking.
For my future career, I'd like to be a Computer Research Scientist.
I know I may have big ambitions right now even if I'm not the best person at coding, but I try my best to persevere otherwise.

Goodbye Program

This program displays a farewell message in multiple languages.

About page

This program simulates an "About page" for a company, with buttons capable of displaying different information.

Mailing Label

This program simulates mailing label, which allows users to input personal information and display it on the label after.

Madlibs program

Date: 9/3/24

This program generates a Madlibs-style story based on user input.

Car Rental

This program simulates a car rental agency and calculates and displays the total rental charges.

Bookstore

This program simulates a bookstore.

BMI program

Date: 9/16/24

This program calculates and displays a person's BMI based on their height and weight.

Test Score program

This program calculates and displays a letter grade based on the standard grading scale.

Dice program

This program simulates the rolling of two dice.

Vacation planner program

This program calculates the total cost for a customer based on their vacation or service selections and displays the receipt.

This program simulates a taco shop and can calculate multiple orders at a time.

Rock, paper, scissor, lizard, spock program

This program simulates a rock, paper, scissor, lizard, spock game for two people

Stairwalker program

This program simulates a lil cat going up and down a staircase.
